I have been working from home lately as I attempt to remain caught up with coursework and get ahead on projects - fingers crossed, we will be traveling in a few weeks but I refuse to make further mention until the plane tickets are secured.  I had a chance to sneak into the museum yesterday and spent a few much-needed hours alone, quietly photographing the specimens that originally compelled me years ago.  For the last hundred years they have remain unchanged while the world evolves around them; myself included.  It is nice to have some relative constancy once in a while.

Chen caerulescens - snow goose
Macropodidae - wallaby sp.
Melospiza lincolnii - Lincoln’s sparrow
