Are you a Chicago-area 10-12 grader with an elective you want to fill this semester, you want the opportunity to work in a museum, AND have a chance to check out SUE once a week?
If you are, then you’re totally in luck because I was just informed of the sweetest program I’ve ever heard of and I wish they offered something like it when I was in high school.
The Youth Design Program is a chance for you to take a class in the Museum. It’s part design class, part museum studies course, and part SCIENCE class! You’ll get to come to the Museum every Thursday for an academic year, get to know employees and staff and researchers here at The Field, hang out with me once in a while, and get class credit so I don’t even know why you haven’t applied yet.
Applications are due Friday. I wish I would have heard about this before then because I would have shouted it from the mountain tops weeks ago but SERIOUSLY APPLY. I’m jealous I can’t take it so you need to take it for me.
